Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how ReCaptured LLC (“ReCaptured,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information. It should be read together with our Acceptable Use Policy and, where you communicate with us by text message, our SMS Terms.
1. Who we are and what this covers #
ReCaptured LLC is a Delaware company located at 2305 Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19806, United States. This policy covers personal information we collect when you visit our website, contact us, book a call, communicate with us by email, phone, or text message, or use the ReCaptured platform.
Where ReCaptured processes data inside a customer’s workspace on that customer’s behalf, the customer controls that data. Section 6 explains the difference.
2. Information we collect #
We collect:
- Contact information you provide — name, email address, phone number, company, and role — when you contact us, book a discovery call, or sign up for the platform.
- Communications between you and ReCaptured, including emails, text messages, and, where consent has been obtained, call recordings and transcripts.
- Account information if you use the platform — login credentials, workspace settings, and billing details.
- Usage information — pages visited, features used, device and browser type, and IP address — collected to operate, secure, and improve the website and platform.
We do not buy personal information from data brokers.
3. How we use information #
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide the platform and related services.
- Communicate with you about your account, your workspace, and support requests.
- Send service updates and, where you have agreed to receive them, information about ReCaptured — you can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Secure, maintain, and improve the website and platform.
- Meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
4. Text messaging and mobile information #
If you provide your mobile number and opt in to receive text messages from ReCaptured, we use it to send the messages described in our SMS Terms — conversational replies, scheduling and follow-up messages, and service updates related to your relationship with us.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the service providers and aggregators that deliver messages on our behalf. Sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted.
You can withdraw consent to text messaging at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP for assistance, or write to support@recaptured.io.
6. Customer workspace data #
Data inside a customer’s ReCaptured workspace — records, documents, conversations, recordings, and transcripts — belongs to that customer and is processed on the customer’s instructions. It powers that customer’s workspace and nothing else. We do not use customer workspace data to market to the individuals in it, and access within a workspace is governed by the customer’s own roles and permissions.
If your information appears in another organization’s workspace, direct requests about it to that organization; we will support them in responding.
7. Data retention #
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above — typically the life of the relationship plus any period required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes — and then delete or de-identify it. Customer workspace data is retained according to the customer’s agreement with us.
8. Security #
We protect personal information with encryption, role-based access controls, audit trails, and disciplined data handling aligned to the control requirements behind frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires. Security questions: security@recaptured.io.
9. Your rights and choices #
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, write to privacy@recaptured.io. We will verify your identity and respond within the time the applicable law requires. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
You can opt out of marketing emails using the link in any message, and out of text messages by replying STOP.
10. Children #
The website and platform are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact privacy@recaptured.io and we will delete it.
11. Changes #
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date, and customers will be notified.
